Gene Cloning
Gene Cloning service includes two kind of services, Cloning and Sub-cloning. Since the expression vectors we used are optimized for high level expression, they are
different to the cloning vector our clients used to clone their genes. It's mendately to sub-clone the gene into our specific expression
vectors. The sub-cloning procedure also provides gene manipulation
including tag fusion, cleavage site insertion. If our clients do not have a gene in hand, we can clone the gene based on the accession number our client provided.
We also provide antibody cloning and sequencing from hybridoma cell line.
For these only have a sequence in
mind but want to have the real clone in hand, we also provide the gene synthesis service.
the basical procedures for gene cloning:
- Amplify
your gene-of-interest from a cDNA library, genomic DNA, cell line, hyridoma or a Bac
clone by PCR.
- Clone the PCR product into
a cloning vector and then,
- Sub-clone the gene into our
expression vector.
- The cloned gene will be sequenced in both orientations to ensure the quality.
